(1) THE HOLY SCRIPTURES: We believe the Holy Scriptures are verbally inspired by God and are inerrant in the original writings, i.e., autographs, and are the supreme and final authority in faith and life. Matthew 5:17-18; John 10:35; II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:19-21

(2) THE TRUE GOD: We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:1,26; Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 48:16; Matthew 28:19

(3) THE PERSON AND WORK OF JESUS CHRIST: We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His premillenial personal return as Lord and Bridegroom of His church and later in power and glory as Judge. Matthew 1:18; 11:5; 17:5; 28:6; Mark 16:19; Romans 5:8; I Thessalonians 4:14-17; I John 3:5; Revelation 20:6

(4) THE PERSON AND WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: We believe in the personality of the Holy Spirit and that His ministry, through the illumination of the Holy Scriptures, is to reveal Jesus Christ to men, to convict men of sin, to regenerate repentant sinners, and to sanctify the lives of the redeemed by His presence and power. John 15:26; 16:8-9,13; II Thessalonians 2:13; Titus 3:5-6

(5) THE PERSONALITY OF SATAN: We believe in the personality of Satan, that he is the unholy god and deceiver of this age, the author of all sin, and is destined by God's judgment to be cast into the lake of fire for eternity. Job 1:6-7; John 8:44; II Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 20:10

(6) THE FALL OF MAN: We believe man was created in the image of God, but by willful transgressions became sinful, and is thus justly under the condemnation and wrath of Almighty God. Genesis 1:27; Romans 5:12; Ephesians 2:1,3

(7) THE WAY OF SALVATION: We believe the only salvation from guilt and condemnation is through faith in the righteousness and atonement of the Lord Jesus, and that this salvation is the free gift of God's love and grace. Acts 16:31; Ephesians 2:8-9

(8) THE ETERNAL DESTINY OF MAN: We believe there is an essential difference between the saved and the lost. The saved shall be resurrected and/or raptured unto life everlasting to enjoy God's presence in heaven; the lost unto damnation to be tormented forever in the lake of fire. John 3:36; 5:28-29

(9) THE MISSION OF THE CHURCH: We believe the true mission of the church body of true believers is the faithful witnessing of Christ to mankind, through the spoken word and by living a daily life which exalts the Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 5:16; 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:47; Acts 1:8; 2:42

(10) THE ORDINANCES OF THE CHURCH: We believe baptism and the Lord's Supper are the only scriptural ordinances of the church. We believe baptism is the immersion of a believer in water, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, symbolizing the essential facts in redemption--the death, burial, and resurrection to newness of life. Matthew 3:13-17; 28:19; Romans 6:3-5

We believe the Lord's Supper is a memorial service in which the elements symbolize the broken body and the shed blood of Christ at Calvary, and it is to be partaken of, after solemn self-examination, at regular intervals by all believers in Christ. Matthew 26:26-28; I Corinthians 11:23-29

(11) THE LORD'S DAY: We believe the first day of the week is the Lord's Day and is to be kept sacred for spiritual purposes. Acts 20:7; I Corinthians 16:2
