"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." (Mat 28:19-20)
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." (Acts 1:8)
"For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!" (Romans 10:12-15)
We Are Called to Go...
From its inception, Faith Baptist Church has been a church committed to spreading the gospel. Heeding the Lord's instruction to go to the world, preaching and teaching in His name, this is a congregation that has always been characterized by its commitment to missions.
The purpose of missions at Faith Baptist Church is to carry out the commandment of the Lord in His Great Commission (Mat 28:19-20) through the support of:

Home Missions in the United States and its territories to reach our own nation with the Gospel. |

World Missions around the globe to reach people of every tongue, tribe, and nation with the Gospel. |
Faith Baptist Church currently supports 39 missionaries and mission organizations, seven of which are from our local church. The Pastor’s have annual mission trips abroad that include teaching and preaching the Word of God to those who have never heard. We also have opportunities to send missionaries to the various fields throughout the year. A number of teens and some adults conduct short term mission trips as well.
