DYING OF THIRST

Have you ever been really, really thirsty? If you have, all you can think about is quenching your thirst. Now, imagine Jesus hanging on the cross for several hours. His body is dehydrated. His physical suffering is enormous. His throat is dry. His voice is weakened. Yet the crowd that day clearly heard Him say, “I THIRST.”
